Donald Brennan, Principal and Licensed Broker

Donald is a long-time resident of Brooklyn Heights and a 24-year veteran of the real estate industry. Brennan offers vast experience in all aspects of real estate –including the acquisition, sale, appraisal, marketing, finance, design, development, rehabilitation and management of brownstone Brooklyn homes. In addition, he’s experienced with the intricacies involved to ensure approval from governing entities such as planning boards, neighborhood associations, community boards and the Landmarks Preservation Commission. Due to his unique perspective and deep community presence, Brennan has the keen ability to uncover hidden value and new market opportunities that may not be apparent to the average brokerage agent.  Brennan has worked as an architect, broker, financial analyst, developer and appraiser, and has a passion for rehabbing historic properties. Brennan is a member of the Brooklyn Heights Association’s Board of Governors and volunteers as Vice Chairman of the Board of the Dodge YMCA and Chairman of its Strong Kids Campaign.

Betsy Hoffman, Licensed Salesperson

Betsy is the right hand woman of Brennan Realty Services. As a licensed sales agent she has sold and rented properties throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. She received her bachelor’s degree from F.I.T with a degree in Fashion Merchandising, but shortly after went on to pursue her career in real estate. She has been in the sales industry for over 10 years and has an insider’s knowledge of the “stats” on every street, building, even unit throughout her territory. Betsy has a genuine passion for real estate, and for finding the right home for the right person. A Native New Yorker, Betsy spends her free time moonlighting in the world of sketch comedy. Before teaming up with Donald Brennan, she successfully ran her own marketing business.

Sabrina Bachai, Director of Marketing & Licensed Salesperson

Sabrina is the Director of Marketing and Public Relations. She received her bachelor’s degree in English in 2008 from the University at Buffalo then went on to complete her Masters Degree in Journalism in 2010 from New York University. Prior to joining Brennan Realty Services she was in sales at a pharmaceutical company and worked in the Manhattan real estate market. Born and raised in New York she loves being able to combine two of her passions: real estate and writing.

Joe Poliseo, Research

A New Jersey Native, Joe now lives in Park Slope. However, before moving to Brooklyn he lived in Georgia, where he received his degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2003. Prior to joining Brennan Realty Services 2004 he worked as a power trader—first for Mirant in Atlanta, GA; then for Barclays Capital here in New York City. Joe is the man behind the numbers; he is in charge of putting together comparable market analyses, and assessing housing prices for buyers. He also helps to manage many of our development projects.

Ashley is the brains behind media production at Brennan Realty. Having grown up in the small Midwestern town of Dayton, Ohio Ashley always dreamed of moving to a saucy east coast town where she could satisfy her creative appetite. After attending Middlebury College as a Literary Studies Major, she finally made her move to New York City and is now proud to call Fort Greene, Brooklyn her home. Ashley is fascinated by the world of New York real estate, and passionate about influencing action through visual language for Brennan Realty. She loves working with her team because they are always looking forward and searching for ways to innovate!
